Save the date: TEAM FINLAND VISIT TO VIETNAM 5/11 – 10/11/2017
Mr. Petri Peltonen, Under-Secretary of State, Ministry of Economic Affairs and Employment, will lead Team Finland's business delegation on the visit which focuses on the following sectors: waste-to-energy, bioenergy and water. Program highlights include B2B meetings, seminar, matchmaking events and participating at Finland Pavilion in VietWater 2017 Renewable Energy & Energy Efficiency Expo. Read more about the visit, further information coming in the beginning of August, when the registration also opens.
The EU-Vietnam Business Network (EVBN) is a project co-funded by the European Union and established in 2014. Companies benefit from coaching, match making and substancial logistical and financial support. The following missions are open for applications:
EEP Support for project preparation
EEP Mekong has opened a continuous call of applications to support project preparation of sustainable energy projects, particularly on bioenergy and Waste-to-Energy (W2E) technology. Also other clean energy projects (Renewable Energy – Energy Efficiency) will be considered. The type of grant support can include, e.g. Technical Assistance, to support formulation, management or implementation of the project; or Direct Grant, to finance a specific part of the investment, e.g. Feasibility Study. IPP call for Finnish companies to join the Vietnam Market Access and Partnership program (VMAP)
The Vietnam-Finland Innovation Partnership Programme (IPP) is calling for Expressions of Interest from innovative Finnish companies and Finnish-led consortia to join the Vietnam Market Access and Partnership program (VMAP) which will run from October 2017 to January 2018. In VMAP, top-class local experts coached by international business creation professionals are teamed up to support each invited company. IPP covers the expenses of the local expert team and the international professionals. The companies joining VMAP cover their share of project costs by making two trips to Vietnam during the program.
The deadline for Expressions of Interest is August 31st, 2017. Up to 20 Finnish businesses and/or Finnish-led consortia will be supported. More information on VMAP brochure and IPP website.
IPP call: Training of Trainers for Vietnamese Innovation Consultants
The Vietnam-Finland Innovation Partnership Programme calls for experienced Vietnamese business professionals to send Expressions of Interest for the second Training of Trainers Program for Innovation Consultants (TOT-IC). The program is scheduled to run from September 2017 to January 2018. Once contracted and trained, the professionals will be mobilised as assigned resource to support Finnish companies participating in VMAP (see above). The program consists of one-month cost-free training, preparation, team building and co-creation for a remunerated three months hands-on work with Finnish companies. The overall target of the program is to generate leading professionals for Vietnam’s future in cross-border innovation work and business creation.
